Peanut Gallery opened in September 2016, established by artist/curator Fruzsi Kenez and graphic designer Caroline Gliddon. It hosted eleven fantastic exhibitions and numerous special events. The gallery closed the doors of it's beautiful Adelaide Arcade home after an eventful year and is now found exclusively online. Stay tuned for upcoming collaborations and pop up exhibitions!
Peanut Gallery was a self-funded artist run space with a vision that saw itself supporting emerging local artists alongside established interstate and international artists. With bold, exciting and carefully curated exhibitions, Kenez and Gliddon sought to bring only the highest caliber of art to Adelaide audiences. Averaging three weeks in length, each show commenced with a large opening night on a Friday, and often included a special event such as a poetry night or live tattooing following in the theme of the show.
It's been our pleasure collaborating with so many brilliant creatives and we look forward to more opportunities to come!
